Eye Ulcer

“The end of July 2011, Alex was diagnosed with an eye ulcer.  This was a very serious situation and needed to be monitored on a daily basis.  We were scheduled to leave on vacation and the doctor had recommended that probably shouldn’t leave town.  Alex had been on drops a few days and his condition wasn’t changing.  In fact, I was actually able to see the ulcer with the naked eye.  This condition was causing Alex some burning pain in his eyes (sun or light really made it worse).  Because we had tickets and other prearranged activities, we left for our vacation (against my better judgment, but KNOWING that there would be excellent doctors where we were going).  Unsure that this was the right decision, I called Julie and asked if she would work on Alex (knowing what she had done for my husband).  Later that night (after Julie worked on him) I inspected Alex’s eye and was no longer able to see the ulcer (I’m sure it was still there, but it had shrunk) and some of the pain had decreased.  Julie continued to work on Alex’s eye, and the condition continued to get better and better.  When we returned from vacation, the doctor was surprised to see his ulcer had healed so QUICKLY!  I’m so happy that we contacted Julie, as were able to enjoy our vacation (with minimal worries)!
